Point Of Use
What do we mean by Point of Use?
In some situations a whole house water treatment system is either too expensive or impractical for the particular application. In these cases point of use water systems such as under the sink filters and reverse osmosis can be employed. These systems are small, compact and designed for treating water where you use it, rather than treating the whole house.
Reverse Osmosis
Reverse osmosis takes water filtration to another level. While softeners remove hardness from water and iron filters remove iron, they leave other dissolved minerals in your water that can cause unpleasant taste and odors. With reverse osmosis, water is forced through a semi-permiable membrane whose pores are so small that only water molecules can fit through. Other dissolved minerals or organics that are too large to fit through the pores of the membrane are forced off of the water molecule and are eventually flushed down the drain.
The Right Tools for the Job
The IMPRESSION and ECLIPSE series reverse osmosis filters from Water Right both feature a four-stage filtration system which filters your water down to the molecular level. Leaving behind only clean great-tasting water which is excellent for both drinking and cooking.
